Paraclete Press has issued Harold’s Christmas anthem Shall I Tell You Who Will Come to Bethlehem? in edition No. PPM00828.

 

Mountain Music can be heard on a new CD American Voyage, played by Alan Morrison of the Curtis Institute (see recordings page.) Alan has made the work a staple of his recital repertoire, performing it at the 2006 AGO national convention in Chicago, Methuen Memorial Music Hall in Methuen MA, Merrill Auditorium in Portland, ME, and many other distinguished venues. A portion of the suite was heard in an October broadcast on Michael Barone’s Pipedreams.

 

Harold has been appointed Communications Director of the United Church of Christ Musicians Association, and will edit and write for the associations journal Worship, Music, and Ministry.

 

Harold’s latest anthem, A Litany of Praise and Thanksgiving for SATB chorus, brass quintet, and organ, was premiered on June 7 at Woodfords Congregational Church in Portland ME by the Chancel Choir of Woodfords Church and Quintopia Brass. Augsburg-Fortress Press will publish Harold’s set of nine new hymn preludes for organ in 2010.
